MEET THE STEWARD

Hi, I’m Helani.

I’m a wetland scientist and the founder of Steward & Saddle. I started this work to make practical environmental guidance more accessible to landowners across Northern Utah and the Intermountain West.

My goal is simple: to help rural landowners save money in the long run by understanding their property before they buy or invest in major projects. With my background in wetland science and field ecology, I help you spot concerns early, prioritize practical next steps, and choose improvements that fit your land, goals, and budget. Whether you’re considering a property, planning a landscape, improving a horse property, or addressing drainage, thoughtful guidance upfront can help you avoid costly fixes that aren’t right for your site.

THE SADDLE SIDE

Healthy land for horses, too.

Horse properties have their own land-care needs. As a horse owner, I understand how mud, bare ground, manure, pasture pressure, and drainage can affect the day-to-day health of a property.

Steward & Saddle offers practical guidance to help you care for your land and make realistic improvements, one step at a time.
